From the supplier: Parametric programming can help computer numerical control machining operators save time during part dimension and design alterations. Parametric computer-aided design (CAD) software can create mathematical relationships between several drawings. Such packages enable operators to assign variables to critical drawing entities. Several parametric CAD packages provide a computer-aided manufacturing interface which can directly convert a CAD drawing into a G code part file. Parametric CAD programs usually cost $3,000-$10,000, but the figure may be higher depending on complexity.
